Locals, visitors and real ale lovers alike relish the delights of drinking Wadworth’s beer served straight from the wood. There’s also a carefully chosen selection of wines, starting at £14.00 for a house white or red.

Foodies very much enjoy Jackie Scott’s (the landlady) home-cooked dishes, which can vary on a daily basis from traditional and modern British dishes, to tapas or Thai. (Jackie also takes a real interest in creating interesting vegetarian dishes.)

Accommodation comprises of four ensuite rooms in the pub itself and a further three rooms in the stable block which overlooks the pub’s courtyard. More about the Lamb

Jackie — chef and landlady — takes a great deal of pride in her food. Although Jackie likes using locally-sourced produce and ingredients, she’s always prepared to look much further afield for unique, regional specialities. You have 7 rooms to choose from. Although every bedroom is different all are well furnished, with en-suite bathroom, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. If you like your beer out of the barrel, then you’re in for a treat! We sell Wadsworth’s beers including the brewery’s flagship ale ‘6X’, which comes straight from the wood.
