As well as long-standing favourites such as 28-day aged rib eye, beer-battered cod and chips or corn beef hash with a fried egg, you may also be tempted by a hand-raised pork pie, duck confit, real kedgeree or a Thai curry in the winter months. At other times of the year you might be eating scallops and black pudding, eggs Benedict, carpet clams or coq au vin.
Lunch and dinner, there’s a varied menu and you can sit and eat in any of the pub’s three rooms, in the courtyard (weather permitting) or in the Stable dining room which is away from the main building, just off the courtyard and will seat a maximum of 25 guests.
We welcome private parties. If you’re planning a get together of family or friends, the intimate and cosy setting of The Stable room makes it ideal for parties of 15 to 25 people. Lunch is served seven days a week; dinner is available Monday – Thursday. Sample Menu.
